Physically Paralyzed but mentally Energized...

Many people might not have heard of it, but the story is a heart touching and that has the power of making many people cry. I'am wrong in saying it was a story because its not just a story, it is something that is more than a story. Its one of the real life story that can really motivate all of us. I hope all of the readers will definitely enjoy it and I recommend all of the readers to read it till the very end. The title of the story itself inspires me a lot because in this very competitive world, although people are physically good and healthy but they are mentally paralyzed, so here is a woman who unfortunately becomes paralyzed but she is mentally strong and energized which enables her to achieve various success milestones.

She was a celebrity till age 18. Champion in swimming, youngest women cricket captain. But in just a split second she lost everything.

Once she was playing in a beach with her friends, suddenly she stumbled and fell in to the deep water which suddenly resulted in to a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed below the neck. She can't walk, she cannot even sense anything below her neck.

She had spent 12 years in her room without going out until then when she read a news about two girls who committed suicide because of the similar injury. This news moved her emotionally and lead her to start first ever long term rehabilitation center for people with spinal cord injuries. Today she and her team is empowering thousands of such people in the country.

We always tend to relate our life with others and end up saying theirs is better than us. Now take an minute to relate your life with Preethi's. Are we facing bigger challenges than her?
